Too Poor for Ridiculousness

Sigh, so the Where the Wild Things Are X Opening Ceremony collection dropped today around 12ET, so of course I was UP AND READY at 11CT, and then I saw that the delicious Max suit is a whopping $610! Um, WHAT? So I guess in a few weeks, there will be a plethora of XS and S-sized rich hipsters/ironic gays running around wearing the play suit since all the XS and S are sold out already. (EXCEPT FOR THE 1 XS IN MY ONLINE TOTE THAT I AM GREEDILY HOARDING)

Also kind of gorgeous and slightly "cheaper" than that cursed Max suit is the Judith reversible vest.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the Pamela Love jewelry, supposedly not until October 1? *cries* How am I supposed to wait until Thursday? Should I get the vest to tide me over? Isn't it PRETTY? I need friends that will love and obsess over obscure and inaccessible fashion (for Texas) with me. Please inquire within.

Sucker for Certain Colors

A color that gets me every time - magnolia pink: (wouldn't this be a great camera bag?)

Distressed grey is good too:

Actually, all the colors available at jcrew.com are awesome. There's a "baltic sea" (read: denim) blue and a "fatigue" (read: army) green. I wish I had a reason to get one of each.

When it comes to leather, it's pretty safe to say that whenever designers make a good bag in a cognac/whiskey/camel, I die a little inside until I have one for myself.

Oh, Alexander Wang. I've held off so long on your it-bags, why must you torment me now? I hope the Donna comes out in this color next spring, too. Or maybe I don't...for my bank account's sake?

Where the Wild Things Are X Opening Ceremony

I don't know or care what I would do with this playsuit, but come hell or high water, I will have it.

Retail Therapy

Wow. I was reading my twitter updates from after the bar, and in one of them I said that because I have to wait until November for bar results, I'd be doing a lot of retail therapy to get me through this nerve-wracking period.

It's really true. That must be why I have something, like, 7 packages on the way to me in the next week or so. I need to QUIT IT.

Hello, Dallas, can you entertain me in other ways so that I can stop SPENDING MONEY I DON'T HAVE ONLINE???

Give me some book recs, hang out with me, help me think of DIY projects (on the cheap!) or something. Just keep me busy, please!
